Feb 8th-Gainesville Raceway Private Event

My local car club is renting out the Gainesville Raceway, and we are looking at Feb 8th as the date. I am trying to gauge interest on here. There will be about 50 cars, and the fee for each car is $45. We will be doing this from 5-9 pm.

I was hoping it was gonna be this weekend...I'll be in Bradenton next weekend..oh well...have fun.. :steering:

Depending on the number of cars we get, we may move it to the weekend after, so feb 15th. I just need people to show intereste or not.

road course or 1/4 mile?

1/4 mile, but if you're interested we do some road racing events every now and then.

and will they enforce the convertible 14 second rule? if so, that counts out a few of us ;)

They don't seem to, but I couldn't say for sure. Ask phil(joecool), he took his miata out there a couple weeks ago, so maybe he could tell you.
