I might have my new to me house and my car out that way by then. I may drive up for it if that's the case. Thanks for posting this.

I've been going to the BASH for the last 10 years or so. It's probably the best Vette event that's held at the museum (at least it is now that the Corvette Forum Cruise-Ins are no longer). Over the years its had its ups and downs, more downs recently due to the Covid situation, but is looking like its headed back up. The highlights are the various road trips that they do, and the seminars that they give. But the biggest thing is that the GM Corvette team, mainly Tadge Juechter (Executive Chief Engineer) and Harlan Charles (Corvette Marketing manager), along with many others, come down to the Bash to discuss and present what's new for 2023 model year, and give an update on Corvette stats and info. They are bringing the new C8 Z06 with them this year. They also have a number of vendors that sell stuff, which is fun, but not as many as years past. It's a great time and everyone should enjoy it at least once.

Is there a general car show or park-n-show at this? I've been looking over the agenda for the weekend and there's a lot of it that doesn't appeal to me. I just want to see a bunch of Corvettes and talk cars with people.

The entire parking lot for the NCM is reserved for Corvette only parking during the BASH, which means you'll probably see every make and model of every Corvette made. But most cars are C5-6-7-8. Keep looking at the agenda as they update things all the time, but unfortunately not as often as I'd like. On Friday and Saturday, they should have the new Z06 and the Corvette Marketing and Engineering team there, with a presentation inside then they are around all the 2023 model year cars outside. That's worth the trip right there. It's probably the biggest collection of Corvettes outside of Carlisle or FunFest.

I have looked at the schedule several times, but it seems very little is happening by way of seminars. I haven't attended for a few years, but the Doug Fehan days are over...no one from the motorsport side, nothin? Where's the heading back up part come in?

Cool. That's reason enough for me to attend and there's still some rooms left at hotels across the road from Corvette Drive. I'll book one today.

Agree! I think they are still recovering from the pandemic and hopefully they’ll announce more - those are some of the best things but they seem to have decreased in recent years. But I’ve got confirmation that the Z06 and team will be there. And you’re right, Doug Fehan was worth the price of admission every year. Haven’t heard if he’s coming (doubtful).

They used to have a big dinner with entertainment on Saturday night. It used to be held at the Sloan Convention center and later migrated to the museum event center. Haven't seen or heard anything about it for this year -- have they cancelled it for this year?

Maci - thanks so much for the update. I know at least 12 people that are not planning to come to the Bash because of limited agenda items. I keep telling them that more items should be added to the agenda and that they should still come, but that's just me hoping so. Can you let us know if any more seminars, Corvette team presentations, or other items are still yet to be added to the agenda?

Thanks for all you do for this great event.

I'm signed up, but will be Vette-less. Getting a lot of work done with the new place and getting the Vette ready isn't a priority just yet. Should still be fun though.

Booked my room this evening. There's still a couple left at the hotel at the SureStay hotel, right in the middle of the Museum and the factory. I've never been to the Bash so I'm excited. Hopefully the weather holds up! Looks great so far.

Looks like I've long since missed the deadline for pre registration. Am I losing out on anything? Also, is there room on the Museum grounds for all the Vettes? I won't be showing up until mid morning on Friday so just wondering if I'll still have a spot haha.

Don't worry about space to park. There is always plenty of room for Corvettes. Hope you enjoy the Bash!
