Im going to try to be there , If my supercharger is done in time. I suppose to haul it down to NC. to have it install on the 11th and pic it up on the 17th. I might stop by on the way home and cruse around with every one and stay the weekend, If that's all right.

Hi Jennifer and all ... I need some help please...

I am travelling from Houston to Sevierville to meet my brother (from Nashville) for the event. I need to get a cabin or hotel for Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun - any recommendations, know of any vacancies where other Corvette clubs will be staying or friends cancelling that you know of?

Sure would appreciate. I understand the local Corvette club is staying at Hidden Mountain Resort and there are no vacancies. ... not being familiar with the area - I am open to suggestions.

Gents - got a cabin - i contacted one cabin resort and they said someone just cancelled 1 minute ago - they just hung up the phone and I got it .... so I am good to go

"For those of you thinking about taking a last minute road trip, here is the response from my friend from Sevierville:

If he is wanting to be close to Hidden Mountain I would suggest looking into Comfort Inn -Apple Valley. It is about as close as you can get to Hidden mountain without getting into Hidden Mountain... (I think that makes sense...)

Another close to that area is Appleview River Resort.
But if he is really wanting in Hidden Mountain I would see if they will keep his name in case of cancellations.

Let him know this area is about a 15-25 Minutes from the Corvette expo location. could be a longer drive depending on traffic.
If being closer to the "show" is appealing maybe check out Clarion Inn Willow Creek is less than 5 Minutes from the show location.

With the timing of the show you are looking at peak leaf watcher time so most places like the overnight cabin rentals are pretty full.

Me and my son-in-law will be there friday in time for the cruise, I hope it's as spirited as in the past. We'll be in an 04 Z06 CE with retired Navy plates.
