I was told by the DIS ticket office that a local 'vette club runs the Corral. That's all I know.

Rolex 24 Corvette Corral
When does access to the Rolex 24 Corvette Corral open on Saturday?
Haven't gone for years so I assume you need to arrive early for a decent spot.

News from Daytona. Didn't see a Z06 at the Chevy exhibit. Just a Sting Ray and a Camaro ZL1. There was a car covered but it looked like a cut up as the wind was blowing the cover over it. Its red in color from what I can tell and it looks like a Corvette from the front. Rained most of the day so hopefully it will improve by tomorrow. There was a white Corvette with black strips which has the Jake symbol on the hood it but it left early in the day and did not return.

I agree - did not see any C8 Z06 on Friday.
I still have one ticket available if anybody needs one. Includes entry to drive your Vette in and park next to the Corvette Corral hospitality tent, access to the hospitality tent and breakfast and lunch Saturday and Sunday as well as several presentations from Mobil/Michelin/team drivers, and garage access and all the vendors etc in the infield.

There’s a big hospitality tent in the same location as it always was before last year - just inside the Turn 4 tunnel. About the only difference is that the breakfasts and lunches are served in boxes - but they were quite satisfactory today (Friday). The whole Rolex is basically just like it was before last year. There are lots of vendors and a huge number of people and the parking in the infield is solidly filled up.
Fortunately, once we got there today it seemed pretty much just like in the past, except for the box meals.
it’s very strange that info from the NCM was non-existent before the event. I had called up to Bowling Green a couple times to find out what was going, but could get no info at all. The Speedway box office didn’t know anything about the Corvette Corral either. They told me there would be a Corral, but had no info about where parking would be, or if there would actually be a hospitality tent.
But….it’s all good!!!! I’m looking forward to the next couple days, but it’s gonna be cold and windy!!
