I showed up about twelve and it was raining pretty heavy , Saw alot of f-bodies headed the opposite direction of the track. Got there and there were about 13 cars and a bunch of people under a tiny tent. We turned around and went back to Florence. Lemme know if they plan to reschedule it. We were the ones in the black S-10 pickup :seeya The Vette isn't quite done. I did spot 3 C5's, a C4 CE, and a bronze older body style C4.

I believe it did. It started at 9am and racing was to begin at 12 and it was going to end at 6. We got there about 12, passed more people going the oppoisite direction of the track than the amount of people at the track when we got there. I don't think they ever restarted.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try and be there. I live in Florence. MAYBE the Vette will be ready by then. But I doubt it lol.

yeah, that was us under the ez up. we were waiting on a friend to finish replacing his waterpump that crapped as we pulled in. the event was rescheduled for December 14th. gates will be open at 9am. hope to see you all there! had less than 10 vettes before the rain fell.

I'll try and be there, I don't think they'll let me run, I think there is an age requirment but I might put it up for show (even though it's just a stock '85) Did any vendors show up? What kinda times do you guys run on average?

age requirement????? well, you really should have a license! other than being old enough to drive legally there is no requirement.

as for vendors, nobody really showed up. vendors contact larry at the track if you are interested.

i ran some low to mid 13's off the bottle, and 12's on it (FPSS kept shutting it down, i need a new fuel pump).

the quickest run last saturday was a 11.16@122mph....he blew a head gasket on the pass and ran a 11.6X after it before realizing he was running hot.

there was a couple others in the 11's, a couple others in the 12's, mostly people in the 13's, and a couple 14's and 15's (3rd gen f bodies and V6 F bodies).

Ahh, somebody told me you had to be 18 to run. I think i'd run high 13 or low 14. I dunno if I can get there at 9, whats a good time to show up?
