Is this a show? Is this an NCRS Tech meet? The info is unclear, but interested, nonetheless.

This is a Corvette Cruise-In at a picturesque Fairfax County Park, and the public is welcomed. Any C1-C7 is welcomed to participate, the cars are parked in the shade of enormous old trees on the property. Other Corvette Clubs can participate, any Corvette enthusiast is welcomed to the Cruise-In, and well over a thousand spectators came last year.
Different from other Corvette Cruise-Ins I've attended around the area, this one always has a nice balance of C1-7s, with more of the classic Corvettes than you'll see at other Cruise-Ins. Many of the classic Corvettes that usually attend are outstanding examples, Top Flight and Bloomington Gold cars, even some excellent Duntov award winning Corvettes usually show up.
Music, barbeque, a raffle of Corvette goodies, and some other stuff. There will be a demonstration and explanation of NCRS judging methods and scoring for the curious, that was popular in past years. But NCRS membership NOT required to attend or park a Corvette. Come and enjoy the cars and camaraderie, it's been a lot of fun in past years.
Cheers,
JB

We’ve added one fun and interesting Corvette Day activity you don’t want to miss, a presentation will compare and contrast NCRS Flight Judging with other antique car club judging processes and scoring. How are they different? NCRS, Bloomington Gold, AACA, Concours d'Elegance, or your local Shine-n-Show. The presenter will explain NCRS Flight Judging 101, and expand that topic to direct comparisons with other methods of antique car judging. This presentation will assist attendees better prepare their own Corvette for chosen judging, understand their personal restoration goals and options and the awards given to any cars they may one day buy, and clear up common misunderstandings about NCRS judging.
Corvette Day proudly benefits The Fisher House. NCRS membership is not required to attend Corvette Day.

Went to my first Corvette event - Here's some Pix from today! Luckily the rain didn't come until late afternoon.
Mine was the Black 1985 C4, I also included some quick pix I took with my phone. Met a lot of nice folks - Enjoy the pix.
