[NASHVILLE] Jack Daniels 14th annual World Championship Cookoff, Oct 26th
OK, This is something Kelly and I are going to do regardless if we get any response.
This is something that the town of Lynchburgh, TN does every year. It is a HUGE cook off on the square, or basically in the town.
We will depart from The LOWER Sears parking lot at 9:00 am, Cool Springs. Drive down to the Jack Daniel Distellary. We will be walking alot, and going to the various places to sample food that is being used in the Kick Off. I have no clue about the cost of the event, but be sure to bring enough $$$ if you want to purchase any of the cooking sauces, herbs, or spices that they may use.
More than likely we will be getting back around 5-6.
Please let me know how many will be going.

Two things I really like are cruising somewhere in my CORVETTE with like minded folks and consuming my favorite adult beverage, JD. I've been a card carrying Tennessee Squire for about 20 years, and own land in the holler as a consequence.
Problem is, we have out of town company that weekend. However, there is a possibility that the male half of the visitors might want to participate, but I won't know until they arrive.
Mark me down as a maybe.

It is a great time....Lots of free samples and good ol tymie entertainment.
I don't have any current plans....In fact, the wife and I were planning to hit the event this year anyway, so what better way than with a bunch of vette guys?/

I have to work on the 12th, good news, bad news. The good news is, my company may be pulling itself out of the economic hole we were in, if I get to pull some Saturday overtime. The bad news is, I don't get to kill myself with my floppy steering wheel and bad transmission at the racetrack.
Adam, I don't have anything better to do the 26th, as far as I know. I'm in until other plans happen to me.
