A little more info on the show:

We will have four special guest at the show:

Will Cooksey and his wife, Liz....as most knows, was the Corvette Plant Manager.
Laveen Ravuri....an engineer for GM, who has been to our show before.
Ken Lingenfelter....of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
Mike Yeager and his wife, Laurie....of Mid America Motorworks.
Mike and his wife will also be models at the fashion show that is given on Thursday night.
Being around these people are a delight. You instantly know they are CAR people.

The host hotel...Hot Springs Hotel blocked rooms are full. Kinda weird to have them booked up at this early date, but I guess, there's going to be a crowd. There's always cancellations, but that's a long shot.
The Embassy Suite's is on the other end of the convention center, which are nice, but they do not give us any kind of a discount. I know a lot of people stay there, tho
The Hampton Inn 501-525-7000 and Comfort Suites 501-624-3800, also have blocked rooms for the show. You must give them the code Hot Springs Corvette Weekend, to get the discount.
Many of the big clubs have blocked rooms in certain hotels that they like for their club members, which I think is a great idea.
You have probably notice in the brochure that there will not be a meal after the parade Friday evening. The parade route will take you back to the area that you left and from there you are on your on for dinner, and you can bet that your wives will not want to eat at McDonalds. LOL There's many great restaurant's In Hot Springs, and I'm sure my wife will be able to find one. So much for the great idea of taking only $10. lol
The Autocross is back this year, and will probably be located at the Hot Springs Mall parking lot, again. I'm going to try and make it: I'm sure they will need someone to set the cones back up from when you all knock them down. After a while, I'm sure the temptation will be too much for me, and I will have to knock down a few.
It seems to be coming together nicely. All we have to do is pray for sunshine.
It looks like I will be giving out T-Shirts this year. Boy, that sounds like fun......not
I'll also be judging, so get those $20 bills out. LOL

I am through on I-30 periodically, and it's not that far off at the North Arkadelphia, AR. exit off I-30. I have been shuttling back and forth to Memphis, Tenn. What is the scheduled sequence of formal/informal events?

Any Vette can register and participate in the show.
Thursday afternoon people will register, meet and greet. Later that evening there will be a fashion show at the sports bar at the host hotel.
Friday...this will be the auto cross and scenic tours. At around 4pm is the parade downtown for the Vettes.
Saturday is the show. It's an indoor show at the convention center.
Of course, there's no charge for the public to come in and look at the cars. it's usually from 10am to around 2pm.
There's concessions areas inside the center, and the paid participants have a fish dinner coming for lunch.

The best place to park is on the South side of the convention center. You will be at the closest door to the show.
I have some good friends from Pineville......Dan and Janet Gallineau. They will be there with at least one of their Vettes.
