The Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend
I just wanted to let everyone know that the most fun Corvette event in this part of the country is this coming weekend, October third through the sixth, in historic Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It not only is full of Corvette activities for everyone, it is located in one of the most picturesque towns in the US.
If you want more information on the show, go to wwweurekaspringscorvette.org or ask me about it.
Hope to see you all there.

Cesar,
Looking forward to meeting you. I'll be driving my 78 Pace Car with Torq Thrust II wheels and sidepipes. Look me up.

Re: The Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend (Arkansas Flash)
The Central Oklahoma Corvette Club will have about 80 members making the trip. We have caravans leaving Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We're staying at the Traveler's Inn across from Pine Mountain Square by the Pizza Hut. Come on by and look us up.
Do we need CorvetteForum meeting place? If so, we could do it at our hotel.

WOW!!!!!! There are going to be a lot of Forum members at Eureka. I'm looking forward to meeting you all. I will be working the registration booth a lot of the time so drop by and say hi. Maybe we can all get together one night and watch everyone run up and down hwy.62 in front of our motels. If any of you are NCM members, we just found out that we will need some help working the NCM booth. If you have a couple of hours to spare during the weekend, just let us know.

Re: The Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend (RockeVette95)
We can use the Travelers Inn or the Pizza Hut. We're right across from Pine Mountain Square - within walking distance. There will be a bunch of us from Oklahoma City and a group from the Kansas City area at the hotel.
We'll be there either way, so feel free to come on by!

I agree, I think we need a place for all the Forum members to get together and Chris' idea of using their hotel, the Travelers' Inn, sounds great to me. It's right across the street from where we stage for the moonlight cruise, the car show and Friday afternoon registration. We could also meet there to watch everyone cruising up and down 62 at night
Whatta ya think????

Re: The Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend (Arkansas Flash)
Let me know if you need me to do anything. The majority or our group will be staying in the building at the bottom of the hill (hard to believe, but the parking lot has a severe slope to it!). There's quite a bit of parking behind the Pizza Hut and by the hotel buildings.
I'm staying right behind the office in their "apartment". I'll be driving my 1995 Dark Purple Coupe and my Dad and brother will be in a 93 Anniversary Convertible and a 95 Pace Car. One of us should be around most of the time. If you just ask for Chris, most of the folks there can point you in my direction.
It's a good spot to watch the Highway 62 cruisers. And it's close to a lot of things.
Let me know how I can help out.

We need to set a definite time maybe Sat. night or afternoon after the poker run? My club is caravaning eight or nine cars, some staying at the Crescent, and some at the Comfort Inn on East Van Buren.

As posted in "Off Topic"...
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=400734
I placed this in OT about an hour ago, (a lifetime on this forum :D) and have not had a single reply yet
For the first time in years, the wife and I will not be able to make it down Thursday but will be there Fri-Sun.
We will be across from Pine Mountain Square at the Edelweiss Hotel.
Did anyone come up with a place to meet??? The Edelweiss Hotel has a Gazebo right out front that should hold about 20 people or so!
Kansas City Corvette Association will be there in force again this year. Its still one of our favorite events.
Nathan.....:seeya

Re: The Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend (mikeerb98)
Mike I have to agree with you about meeting in a bar but we're running out of time and I think we need to keep it simple. How about we meet in front of the Travelers' Inn on Saturady night about 7:30. That should give everyone time to do the poker run and then have a bit to eat before we get together. Next year 'll bring this up earlier and we can have more time to hash it out.
Is that okay with everyone??????

I will have to pass, for the first time since we have been going to Eureka, some of our group wants to go see the Pine Mountain Jubalee (sp?) and have already made reservations:rolleyes:
How about an earlier meeting during the car show Saturday, say about 2:00 pm, then meet later at Travelers Inn. ?

That should work great. Some of us can't make it during the car show (I have to work the event) but a lot can I'm sure. So we'll meet at 2PM and then again at 7:30PM on Saturday at the Travelers' Inn.
Well I'm leaving in a couple of hours so I'll see you all there.

Sounds good to me also. We're talking about meeting at travelers both times right? Maybe once we get together that night we can determine an alternate location where they serve beer :blueangel:
