Hi from Germany,
22 years after our Honeymoon in FL we will be back in April 2015 for a 2 weeks holiday.

We will stay some days in Miami, one week Fort Myers, 2 days Key Largo and 3 days Fort Lauderdale.

Of course we will visit Muscle Car City. Are there any other places you recommend to go?
I also would like to buy some parts for my 2003 C5Z06. Any shops somebody can recommend around our locations?

I also subscribed the "Florida events 2015" thread, hoping that there will be some interesting events.

Hi Andreas, two of my favorite steak places are Cloydes prime steak & seafood in Naples, and Ruths Cris steak house in Coconut point. Hope this helps.

There is a big beach car show in Ft Walton in April, but it's clear on the other end of the state.

If OP makes it that far he might as well carry on after the show & go to New Orleans, 4.5 hrs away. The Provincial Hotel, Room 532 (which is buiding 5, 2nd floor, room 2 overlooking the MS River in the French Quarter. But then again, he's next door to France already.

If OP does go out-of-State, clear that with rental before reservations. Stop in Biloxi MS casinos on the way to N.O. Stay at the Beau Rivage corner suite facing the road for the overnight in Biloxi. Play at Hard Rock next door and IP north by 2 miles. N.O. is just 1 hour beyond Biloxi.

April 12 and April 25-26

Both dates for Chin Motorsports at Sebring. Come by and watch a bunch of Corvettes chew up Porsches for an afternoon. Great fun.

You can even drive around the track at lunchtime (with a pace car of course). Then you could says you've driven Sebring.

vacation is coming closer! We are really excited.
13. April we will touch down in Miami.
We expect to see more Corvettes than in Germany!!

I am still looking for some shops to buy some C5 apparel or accessories.
We will go for sure to Muscle Car City.

Hi Guys,

We are currently in Cape coral. Muscle Car City was awsome even though they will move to another location and did not fill up the shelfs in the store. Soooo many beatiful cars.

Anyhow, any other ideas where to go the next days? Any Corvette meetings? Tomorrow we will do a dolphin tour.

Hi Andreas, not sure how long you'll be here but next Saturday there is an awesome cruise in, in Ft Myers which is not far from you at all. It is at the corner of First & hendry street which is in the river district. It is held on the 4th Saturday of every month and runs from 4-8. When I go I get there around 1 as to get a great spot to park.
