We are visiting the Orlando theme parks and I would like to take my son pier fishing. I used to go a lot when I was younger with my father, 30 years ago. I remember buying bait shrimp at the pier and fishing off the sides. Any suggestions???

I would like to be able to buy the bait there, fish for a few hours, and head back to the Orlando area.

There's a good pier in Clearwater Beach. We were there last winter and I asked someone fishing if it was any good. He said yes, they caught a number of species there.

It's a possible retirement area we're checking out.
