Hot Springs Corvette Weekend
Coming again in the Spring of 2015. I think this is about the 15th one. Will be similar to last year, as for as events go.
Date....Saturday April 18 is the actual show. People start showing up on Thursday. Friday has a lot of events.

Just found out....Corvette Nation from the Velocity Channel will be filming at the Corvette Show.

Have some good news about the upcoming show.
CORVETTE NATION....the TV series on the Velocity channel will be filming at our show. So....leave your overalls at the house, because chances are...you will be on TV. They will be coming in on Thursday and leaving Saturday night.
They mention that this is the smallest show that they have ever done. They are usually at much larger events, such as Effingham.
We are honored to have them at our show. Host Bill Stephens, Maria Prekeges and Michael Brown will be in attendance.
Also, The ones calling for rooms at the host hotel.....be sure and tell them you are coming for the show.....we have rooms blocked for you. Please use their local number....877-623-6697
See ya in about 6 weeks.

I was one of the 20 cars that went down to the Slidell show last fall. Good show....great food on Friday night.
I understand, that a lot of Vettes are coming up from that area. I will be looking for them.

I think my folks are gonna meet up with a group of members coming thru Hattiesburg on I59 and Hwy49, then from there, meet up with the main group somewhere along the way. I know they are getting excited and looking forward to it.

All sounds good.
Last year we ran short of inside parking for late arrivals to the convention center. We're expecting a lot more cars this year, so we have rented another section to the center. We can hold more cars and hopefully give more space for the cars to park in.
Now if the weather will corporate that would be nice. Actually the weather will not bother the inside show, but it can be bad on all the events that happen on Friday.
I'll be hanging around registration on Thursday night hoping to meet all I can. You can spot me, if my wife is with me....she has a big wart on the end of her nose. lol

We have more cars pre-registered this year than we had total last year. Like I mentioned before, we are opening up another section of the convention center, so we will have plenty of room for all the cars. Plus....each car should have more room, which is always nice.
Besides Corvette Nation filming there will also be a couple of local TV stations there, also.
One change in the what the brochure says.....the parade downtown will be at 4pm instead of 5. We have a map in your pack showing how to get to the eating place after the parade......use the map and not your GPS. I plan on being posted at the exit that everyone should take....try and not to run me over.

Even though dad wasnt able to have the curbrash on his wheels fixed today, he and my mom are still gonna make the drive up....they are sooooooooo looking forward to it. I know theyll have a great time...Im looking forward to seeing the pics and hearing the stories when they get back.
