VETTES and JETS, Pensacola, Florida
Okay EVERYONE!!! The weatherMan says it's gonna be great weather. High's in the lower 70s and lows in the high 50s. Partly Cloudy Skies should dawn on a Beautiful Day and a Bunch of Beautiful Corvettes. We will also have a Bunch of other types of Antique Cars that are coming from Slidel, Louisiana and will be on display alongside our Vettes. So, make plans to attend this Show. Don't miss all of the cars and the Aviation Museum.
Once again, the Miracle Strip Corvette Club is sponsoring its Annual "VETS AND JETS" All Corvette Show in Pensacola, Florida. Date: 12 April 2014 from 10am - 2pm. Top 30 Trophies will be given out. This Show is held at the National Naval Aviation Museum on the Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. Last year the Navy's Blue Angels were grounded, so we did not hold our Show. But, the "BLUES" are back and so are we. NO VALVE COVER RACES THIS YEAR!!! SORRY.
There is plenty to keep you busy here. The Museum itself has almost tripled in size and there is no fee for entrance (only donations), the sandy beaches and the seafood is to die for. Also, the Navy Blue Angel Jet will be parked in the rear parking area for pictures of you, your vette or your club (please bring your camera). Some of the proceeds go to the Museum as they only operate on Donations which will be donated around 2pm on the day of the Show. Food is available in the Museum, on the Base and just outside the Base.
So make plans to attend our Show. Those of you that have been here know that it is a good time and a great place to visit. Won't be bored here waiting for that 2pm Trophy Award Cermony. Any questions, please see our website: www.miraclestripcorvette.com or email Dave @ yn1bennett@att.net or Ernie @ erniemar@yahoo.com. We look forward to seeing all of our old friends and welcome all newcomers. This will be a great Show.

We usually have around 85 Corvettes. Everyone enjoys having their Picture taken with the Blue Angel Jet. Its really nice having the time for your entire Club to pose with it also.
Come on Down, Over, Under, Around and Through!! Should be a great Show.
Remember: The National Naval Aviation Museum has hours and hours of displays. Food is also available in the Museum.

Put my order in for good weather. This is a rain or shine car show. Will have some Antique Cars next to our Show that day. They are coming from the Antique Car Club in Slidell, LA. They will be there all day. So, come on down and see the Corvettes, the Antique Cars and the Museum. Plenty of things to do and see while you are here. Don't forget the Sugar White Sandy Beaches. See you in April.

Are the cars going to be parked/displayed on the "grassy" area or parking lot (my preference)? We will have several cars from the Sunset Vettes club in attendance! Weather forecast is looking good!

The lovely wife and I enjoyed meeting everyone with the Miracle Strip Corvette Club today.
Great show, fun time, good people.
I suspect we'll be joining the club soon.

As the President of our Club, I want to thank each and every one of the Members of the Club that did an outstanding job at this Show.
All of you that attended, thanks for your attendance. We had a great Show. Great Weather. And bunches of beautiful Corvettes. I believe we had a corvette for every generation present.
Even the Antique Cars from the Car Club in Slidell, Lousiana was in attendance. Can't say they were impressed, but they did tell me that they enjoyed all of the cars and trucks that were there.
Thanks again to all and remember, we have a Bigger Show in September on the Beach. Check out our new Website www.miraclestripcorvette.com and make plans to attend this one also.

Dang! wish i could have gone to this, but the wife was working and you can't really transport two kids in a Corvette.
Maybe I'll hit Vettes at the Beach in Sep.
