Ok its getting close guys!!! Jeff needs more people to sign up...about 80 spots left to fill!!! Pass the word around! Iam also willing to do something new this year...if anybody want's in on a "CorvetteForum Tallaega Group Picture"...let me know. I'll arrange a time during the day for all of us to gather and take this. I'll then add a nice CorvetteForum 2014 logo to the picture and will email a copy to everybody. Figure that should be pretty cool and gives us a chance to meet and greet everybody. I'll also have the CorvetteForum Banner with me as well and we can sign and get a picture of that as well. Thanks to Mike for his quick shipping of this out to me.
Here is some inspiration!!! Was a good race last sunday...except for when Mr. Brad decided to "get aggressive".

That sounds like a definitely plan Tim! In fact if it's cool with you I'll probably end up using the pictures you take. That is quite the camera you have there. A lot better then mine. I can do wonders with pictures but nothing can replace just better quality from the get go. So yeh once you leave and get back home be sure to email me over some high res shots. I'll compare them to mine and use whatever ends up the best.

around 3 or so in order to pick my dogs up at the kennel in time. I found a new place
and they are open late so I'll be sticking around till after the "bonus laps" are run. I can
hook up with you after that just before I head out.
Hey your the techy guru. I just finally got a new Go-Pro Hero 3 black edition. Any tips
or tricks? I haven't really had much time to put it through the test yet. I just plan on
hooking it up to a suction cup on the inside of the car. I haven't got the brass yet to
attempt to put it on the outside of the car. My luck and murphy's law are always against
me. For everybody else it sticks to the cars fine but for me...I can only guess that my
first past of over 130 down the backstretch would cause it to go flying off and nailing
someones band new C7!

Jeff,
Glad the Corvette forum banner arrived just in the nick of time for you to take it to the bash in Bowling Green. The new gopros heros are very nice. I assume you have a remote with your black, but I'd highly recommend getting the gopro app (if you have a smart phone) It's a free download and the information it gives you about your camera is amazing. It does more than I can type here. You really should play around with it before we get to Talladega. I can show you my setup at the track. As for the suction cup mount, there is really no worries about loosing it, at least in my experience and I'm speaking of mounting on the rear window. I have been over 150 mph more times than I can remember (Daytona and "other" tracks) and it has been fine.
That's a great idea on the forum group photo. Count me in, but I have eight sessions so I will be busy. Perhaps durring noon/lunch hour would be our best bet.
Tim,
Great to hear about your new Canon. I plan to lift some pics out of your photobucket account like I did last year...
I also can't wait to hear that bad *** cam at idle in person
-Mike

I also use Windows live movie maker. Really easy to edit the video's you'll be getting. I just purchased all new battery's for all of my GoPro's since they are going on 2-3 years old. After each run I turn off the WiFi because its a constant drain on the battery when not in use..

That's hotter than this boy is used to, but I'll gladly take any weather that doesn't include water falling from the sky. As I type this it is in the 30s here and my furnace is running. Looking forward to some Alabama heat. I guess I'll pack some T-shirts lol
I just watched the entire 1988 Winston cup Talladega 500 (fall race) on YouTube via blue ray. How bad is that??!!??

Does anybody know if track time-slot schedule is out yet? I'm probably going to have to drive down to Dega on Saturday AM and trying to figure out how early I have to be there.
