Bambi got my 71 ..
Looking for a Corvette body shop in South side VA or Triad area.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Most in my area (Reidsville, NC) just honestly don't like fiberglass work.

Yes, you will need to keep on Greg. He does good work but he had my Corvette way too long this last time he worked on it.

Stay after him to give you an estimated finish date and then pester him once it comes an goes. (Don't tell him I said that)



If yours is there now, you probably saw mine there. I just got it back last week. He put on a new hood and fenders.

Update went yesterday, headlight issue ? and help concerns.... still not finished.
Maybe August before he is.. I told him I had a benefit Cruise in Aug. FWIW.

NCvette- how long did he have your car, what all was done? It looks like the whole thing was apart.

Oh, they have had my car 3 different times over the last 5 years.
Each time they had it quite a while, but the first 2 times I had more work done. This last time it was just to get a new hood and fenders painted and installed.


I started with this.





The 1st time, I had a wide booty done along with an aftermarket hood and front bumper.


Here is my car after the first trip.





Then I had an accident when my car slipped off of a jack. Passenger side rocker panel was damaged so I decided to go ahead and do the front conversion.









Here is my car after the second trip.




This last trip was to install a 427 takeoff hood and real Z06 carbon fiber fenders.

I don't have a photo of it yet. It's in my garage up on Race Ramps so I can install my ZR1 carbon fiber splitter and hopefully some side skirts.

Then I will be DONE.

Oh, I see, looks good. My cars are the opposite, can't see the mods except for wheels.
I made a note of this place in case I ever need.

Ever go to the Cars & Coffee here in GSB? Think I might check it out next week.

They don't have C&C during the colder winter months but I assume that they will start back up in the spring.

I have not heard anything definitive on not having C&C in the next few months.
