Free to good home (Central FL)...C5 Lamp motors
I have a set of original C5 head lamp motors that came off my '01 when I replaced them with new. I'm in the process of moving and came across them. If anyone in the Orlando area that is a C5 owner and wants an extra set to rebuild with the new gear and have a backup set ready to install on yours, I'm giving them away and you are welcome to them.

I'm 99% sure it's the gear
I'm sure it's the gear with all the rattling it makes when the headlamps are turned off. Changing out the gear seemed like more work and messier with having to pry open the housing and then having to glue it back together. That's why I prefer just to change the whole motor out to keep things looking clean. You know how some peoples' OCD can be.

Those two motors require being rebuilt with the new brass gear. They were my originals that I removed and replaced with new. I didn't have time to rebuild them at that time. But I kept the motors cause for a couple hrs time and $5 that saves about 280. for a new motor.

to replace a gear (make sure you put in a brass gear instead of the
poly gear). This is pretty easy. You can fix your motor--easy.
