Southeast Charity Challenge Show at Atlanta Dragway October 26th
Southeast Charity Challenge (SECC) - 10/26/13 - VETTES - VIPERS - CAMAROS - MUSTANGS - CHALLENGERS This is a Fall show, however we want to get the word out early enough so everyone can put this day in their calendar. This is the first year for SECC and we hope to make it an annual event. As noted in the subject it is Saturday October 26th at Atlanta Dragway (NHRA owned) in Commerce Georgia just north of Atlanta. Below is the link to the web site and info on the show. Basically this show was conceived to 1) Provide Southeast muscle car and sports car owners a show to attend later in the year without a long drive and 2) To raise proceeds for the Forsyth County Humane Society (a no kill animal shelter). What makes it cool and a MUST ATTEND event is unlimited drag racing and the fact that the show is centered around all years of Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, and Vipers. So expect some awesome pair ups at the lane for sure. General parking is available for non show theme vehicles but only theme vehicles are eligible to drag race. BUY YOUR TICKETS AT THE SITE NOW TO SAVE MONEY - EARLY IS QUITE A BIT LESS AND PRE-PURCHASING AFTER THOSE ARE GONE WILL STILL SAVE YOU $$$.

Overview
The Southeast Charity Challenge (SECC) is a gathering of American muscle cars spanning back as far as 1953 with the first Chevrolet Corvette. This includes the Chevy Corvette and Dodge Viper in the sports car category and the Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang, & Dodge Challenger in the pony/muscle car group (inspired by the Mustang in 1964). All years of these vehicles are invited to park in the show car parking area.
By design and owner modification, these vehicles like to go fast which is why the 1st Annual Southeast Charity Challenge is being held at the historical Atlanta Dragway. With a full day and unlimited passes there are sure to be some impressive quarter mile runs. Whether you are behind the wheel or in the stands drag racing never disappoints!
Our Purpose: Serve the Local Community & Fund Raise for Forsyth County GA Humane Society (A NO KILL Shelter).
Throughout the years, many of us have gotten our car show fix through cruise ins, church car shows, and vendor hosted shows. The SECC is the Southeast's answer to the Midwest's huge Corvette shows and the myriad of classic muscle car shows of the north. Our goal is to provide a fun, family-friendly, southern-based destination for American muscle car and sports car enthusiasts. The SECC is classics, modern muscle, and racing all wrapped up in one event.
All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Forsyth County, GA, a "No-Kill" shelter.
For all questions pertaining to the 2013 Southeast Charity Challenge, please contact us at contactSECC@aol.com.

WasVette is my brother and I'm helping him to promote this show. In short it could be the first "DRAG, Shine & Show" of it's kind, with exclusive track use all day long for the muscle cars! And of course, it is also a traditional shine and show. Lest we forget all the proceeds go to a good cause, the Forsyth County Humane Society.
Get the word out to your local corvette clubs!

Thank you all! Please spread the word so we can make it an annual event. All of us are doing this 100% volunteer and only have so much time with the full time job

The Grand Sport is back from Bowling Green and better than ever. By the time the October event rolls around, I should have the supercharger, headers, and custom tuning done.

I recall from when we met that you have a local club up in Dahlonega, don't forget to talk up the show with those guys!
And as a friendly reminder, all can register now for the early bird prices, $15 for the show. I see a Jim on there!
The price for unlimited track runs stays the same, only $15.

And if we are not on your calendar put us there!
And it's worth mentioning BORLA just signed up to giveaway a voucher for half off an exhaust, that's worth about $700 right there folks!
And Kev, is it too early to tell them about that one vendor?
