Default Couple of Orlando Fla area questions?

Hi everyone. We are heading to Celebration Fla. for a weeks vacation Sept 22 to 29th 2012.

Looking for good restaurant ideas/tips, Good (reasonable priced) golf courses,

Also meeting up in Daytona for dinner one night. So looking for a good place to eat there.

Any and all info is much appreciated.

Oh ya. Any car show on in the Orlando area that week?

Celebration is close to OLD Town that has a car show & cruise every friday & sat night. The Columbia house is a realy good spanish rest. right in the heart of Celebration. I don't know about golf, not a player. If you go up to Daytona it might be worth a trip up the coast on rte a1a to Flagler beach for some decent seafood and scenic ocean driving. The link
http://www.flaglerfishcompany.com/

to this place was good eating the last time I was there. Daytona is a little rundown & I don't know any good eating places there.
If heading towards Orlando Take I-4 east to SandLake road exit & head west on Sandlake road. The place is coined "Restaurant row" for a good reason. Plenty of food & drink spots open late. World of beer, Corona cigar co. Millers field sports bar. Rocco's Taco is opening up this week.

Here is a link to the cruise nights at old town, it is in kissimmee and that is next to celebration.

As for golf, you will find a ton of courses around. Just search on the internet and compare rates and reviews.

As for things to do, International Drive in Orlando has plenty or tourist things to do.

Disney is always fun and Gatorland is also located in Kissimmee.

J. Alexanders On Sandlake Rd. just west of I-4. awsome food, I drive over there every saturday for lunch. Stay out of Kissimmee, not a very safe place to hang out. Alot of my friends work at the jail out there, bad bad bad

Daytona Beach - Martini's Chophouse on South Ridgewood Ave. Expect to spend 30 each on food and similar on drinks if you have a few. The place is extremely classy and upscale, feels like a quantity NYC restaurant. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on their food and the owner Claudia is there every night to make sure things are running smoothly. Wear a nice button down and if you're bringing a date, a nice dress or blouse (don't show up in swim trunks and a tank top).

+1 on the Columbia House in Celebration. Their house salad is to die for.

If you like Mexican food, Azteca de Oro on South Orange Blossom Trail is the best in o-town.

I believe I would try the Celebration Golf Course. All the courses around there are really expensive but they are world-famous. You have Big Cypress, the Arnold Palmer courses at Bay Hill, etc.

If you are interested in go cart racing, the Orlando grand prix is located in between celebration and idrive, and best of all its 'indoors' so the weather doesn't play a role.

The premium outlets are a great place to find decent deals if you like to shop. As far as golf goes, whats is your budget for a round, because you can literally spend 25 bucks for a round or 250, and anywhere in between. Also sunday the 23rd we are hosting a morning corvette group meet up at our shop if you are interested in attending, we are located about 5 miles west of downtown orlando.
