Who Would You Recommend for a Clutch in the Marietta GA. Area
Just like the title says I'm looking for recommendation for a shop to replace the clutch on my C6.

MTI is right there in Marietta. Then Day's Chevrolet used to have a very good Corvette tech, I think his name is Kelly, don't remember his last name. Then there is a small shop near me in Canton that knows Corvettes fairly well. Personally I would get a quote from MTI first.
ps - There is also Vengeance Racing in Cumming and they do excellent work.
Just saw you are in Dallas - that is where Hunter's Performance is (another Corvette shop).

MTI clutch replacement
We recently have had Reese and the guys at MTI Racing replace the clutch on my wife's 2001 convertible. It is a daily driver with 85,000 miles on the clock.
Reese recomended a Luk clutch package, which included bearings, flywheel and slave cylinder.
This new clutch feels great and performs better than the car did when new.
We were happy to feel the difference in other performance factors related to the clutch replacement, such as: the brakes were better, since they were bled during the process. The suspension was tighter, with less vibration and noise due to all of the drivetrain components being re-torqued. The shifter engagement now feels smoother in first and second gear (this was probably due to the worn out original clutch).
There were many other high-priced clutch packages available, but Reese steered us away from them knowing that they were over-kill for our needs in a daily driven, mostly stock Corvette.
MTI gave us a great service at a competative price, all done in one day.
