Great to meet you too. Looking foward to next C&C. Maybe I will park my jalopy close to yours to make mine look better.
Are there any other cruise ins that you reccomend? I know about the Castle and plan on being there.
What corvette club did you say you belonged to?
Thanks again.

Quality detailer in Louisville..yes!
Have to give a shout out to Reflections Auto Detail and owner Clay Thoreson, on Bardstown Rd...
First time using him/them, and count me impressed...professional, uses professional products, many of the ones I see being used here...he uses Chemical Guys for most microfibers, AutoGeek.net for a bunch of stuff...and focuses his efforts of luxury/high end cars....
On my '13 GS, which I used as a DD for the first 17 months, putting on 15,800 miles, and a variety of surface imperfections, (scratches/swirls due to my own ignorance at times, lots of pollen and dirt flying, construction, a ruined set of microfibers, etc), he did a great job of paint correction, and went even beyond.
In shade or normal light, you wouldn't really see the surface scratches...in florescent or direct light, yep..light, but there...plus, from wearing the SLB for a long period of time, the edges near each corner of the hood had some paint scrubs...all gone now!
He clayed/washed the whole car (two bucket method), then used Meguiars 105, then 205, then put a Wolfgang sealer on it, let it cure, and finished with Pinnacle Sovreign. He uses only top notch materials and MFs..
While I expected the paint/body, I did not expect him to clean my barrels, polish the chromes, and dress the tires....then as he showed me the back of the car, he had cleaned the tailpipes in and out..looked brand freaking new, again.
Finished when promised, took and sent me a pic, had it ready to go...they closed at 3, but he was going to be there late to work on his own ride....so he stayed open till I made it after work at 5:30...
Will definitely use him/them again, and highly recommend them. Pic doesn't do it justice.
PM if you want the exact cost, but let's just say it was in the $220 range...
Glad to know we have a professional detailer so close by, who cares.

Glad to know the new cruise location. Are there any cruises this Friday or Saturday? I know its Derby, but thought I would ask.

There are plenty of shows & cruises this weekend. Due to storm knocking tree into my AC unit last night, I am busy with non car related activities. However, the Castle is Friday evening. Mission Driven show off Wolf Pen Branch & US 42 is Sat. morning. Cruisin with the Quads in La Grange is Sat. evening. I might try and make it to the Quads since it is close to me. Hope to see you at one of these. Have a good weekend.

IM new to the forum and just recently purchased my C6. I live up the street in Mount Washington and was planning on coming by the Castle tomorrow evening and meeting some fellow owners.
