Talk about some crap....went to wash the car today, basically just spray off the damn pollen and I hear, CRACK....freaking windshield let loose on me, now I have a line down the damn passenger side top to bottom. NEVER had a chip or anything, just cracked. Yeah, in direct sunlight and likely hot...but so was the damn water in the hose! Had been in the sun all day, felt it when I first started... This SUCKS! Only damn thing I can not and will NOT try to fix myself...******** if you ask me...

I'd probably only trust Safelight to do it and make sure they get a person that has experience with C6 windshields. Let us know how that goes!

Thanks, so far the windshield price alone is $724.84!!! Crazy!! I paid less than $260 for a windshield on my truck last year, stupid corvette tax!!!

I think i'm about to crap my pants...found a glass masters that apparently is completely retarded.... they are going to fix the windshield for $265!!!! Having it done in the morning hopefully. BUT i have it in writing that they can NOT go up on price!!! Talk about freaking happy!!!! This is awesome!!

Yeah, including the freaking glass... I was like are you sure???? And she said yeah, they had the glass in stock ready to install!!! I wont pass it up at all, I cant afford to. Dealer glass was $565 by itself through her..

[You know there are 2 different windshields for the c6 and c5. The difference is if the car has HUD. If you have a car with HUD and go with the cheaper windshield you will see a blurred or double vision readout. That might explain why you were getting a big difference in quotes. The HUD windshield is more expensive and has a special thicker glass in the HUD section so you can read the display clear.Both windshields will fit no problem.
