Another spotless sunday here in Kville. had a great ride on ol US 129 to the crossroads of time and over foothills parkway and home into the sunset. Enjoy those spring days friends, the annual onslaught of chrome and drragging pipes is almost here! EAG cars n coffee this Sat and Solo at pellisippi is Sunday. PM if you are more than a waxer! JJ

What is EAG Cars and Coffee and where is it gonna happen? Might try to make it if the weather stays nice.

Its at the European Auto Garage (EAG) where a bunch of high end cars come out and hang out at their garage. I've been to a couple of them and some very nice cars come out for it... anything from Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche's, some Vette's, old school muscle and plenty more. Normally starts around 9am till about noon on Saturday. Anyone and everyone is welcome... they will also have the garage open to go in and look around to see all the racecars that EAG is preparing too.

Yes for sure on Solo sunday. I will be spectating 1 more time.12 noon they should be running until 4. If you want a show spot for CnC you should try to get there by 8 as it fills up very quickly!! EAG is on Sherway Blvd and surrounding business' dont mind you parking there. The last time I was there they had a twin turbo 11 Camaro on the lift with the front of the motor all apart and the shopis fun to explore! Hope to meet you all.

So, where exactly is the autox?

Dang, I haven't been to one of those in over 40 years! (Yeah, I'm older than dirt) Last time I was at one, I competed with my '61 Bugeye Sprite. Tried my best to blow that 948cc monster up but, it just kept chugging along. I think I was kind of an entertaining sideshow for the more serious drivers there.

I would encourage anyone to come out and not only just watch, but participate too. Watching is honestly boring to me. They have a novice class that if you feel more comfortable running in and will have guys to help out the novices all day long.

If anyone wants a little coaching for the event... I can always co-drive with anyone.

Sonny would be great to see you again! Take pellisippi speedway north and exit @ Hardin Valley, left under the bridge ( west)first or second right you see will bring you into the parking lot of the campus. Eagle 10 if you come over from Crossv I will run a few....you motivated.... I plan on a few ride alongs this week. worst part is getting there early to run!
