I used to go this show each year, and the Belair Plaza was the highlight of the weekend, and parking across street in the shopping plaza. I remember get there early and leave late or else it could take at least 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot.
Have fun!

I live here, so I'll be here!!!

I'm pretty busy this weekend (Oct 21-23) with some other stuff going on, so won't be doing much with the Dream Cruise, but I'll try to stop by Bellair Plaza/Bermuda House Hotel sometime during the weekend.

And I'll be attending the Turkey Run!!!

If anybody is in town for the Dream Cruise this weekend, plan on stopping by the Daytona Int'l Speedway. There's a track day driving event Oct 21-23 at the Speedway. It's put on by PBOC and includes club racing and high performance driving event sessions for us non-racers who want to drive the Speedway and unleash the beast in our Vettes!!

There are several forum members that will be running the event, so come on out and watch the action - there's no charge for driving into the infield and watching the action from the pits/garage area/fan zone.

You can drive in through Gate# 40 (off Williamson Rd on the west end of the Speedway). You'll come in and drive through the Turn 1 Tunnel and into the infield. You can park and come on into the NASCAR garage area and see all the cars and yak with us drivers.

I'll be there only on Sunday, but several other forum members will be there all weekend.

On Sunday I'll be in Blue garage# 34 - look for the DSOM C6 Z06.

Forum member C6Z06 (Larry) will be there all weekend with his Silver C6 Z06 - I'm not sure but I think Blue 58 garage.

Hey John

It was great seeing you at Daytona - I hope you enjoyed wandering around the pit area and NASCAR garages, and that you got some good pictures!!

I thought for sure that I'd be going to the Turkey Run, but my wife tells me we may be going over to Tampa for T-Day (and the weekend) with my sister.

I'll know in the next couple days and post up. I hope I'll c'ya here!!

Bob

Always go to Daytona for Thanksgiving with the In-laws and go to the Turkey Run almost every year. This year is no different although I doubt we'll be in the Z. I'm not sure I can get the Z across a large dip in the In-laws driveway.
BTW How do you like my new avatar? Been trying for 3 days to change my old one (I'm computer-challenged).

I'll be here in town!!

I just registered, so I'll probably be going to the Speedway Fri or Sat (or maybe both!).

If everybody wants to get together for supper Fri or Sat night, post up if you're interested.

There are a bunch of restaurants on ISB, but they will be jammed.

A new Texas Roadhouse is opening in a little more than a week near where I live. It's 7 miles south of the Speedway in Port Orange.

If you don't like that, there are a number of other places 7-8 miles south in Port Orange, or a similar distance north in Ormond Beach - I think that will be far enough away from the mobs at the Turkey Run so that we can get a table for a group of us.
