Lots of vettes and close to home. I'm in.
Is this a "fun" show or does the judging get serious? The answer to that will depend on if I show or just go. I drive my car everyday and don't have time to get all the dirt off it. :lol:

I,ve heard this year the Village Show will be open to both Vettes and Vipers. :eek:
Anybody know if this is true? :confused: I have a friend who is interested in showing his Viper. :D

We stayed at the Renaissance Resort Hotel last year and got a show rate. I'd try talking to THE General Manager.

The large hotel in the pictures is the Renaissance Resort Hotel. Can't go wrong with that one, but there is several other hotels within a mile that would be cheaper I bet.

Since World Golf Village is only 15 minutres from the beaches at Saint Augustine, some people may be interested in getting hotel accomodations at the beach or closer to the downtown Saint Augustine area. If you have never been to that area, it is a worthwhile side trip IMHO with some nice hotels and restaurants.
I'd be happy to research info if people are interested in this option.

Since World Golf Village is only 15 minutres from the beaches at Saint Augustine, some people may be interested in getting hotel accomodations at the beach or closer to the downtown Saint Augustine area. If you have never been to that area, it is a worthwhile side trip IMHO with some nice hotels and restaurants.

I got an e-mail from one of the organizers. They said they dont have a host hotel or any rates sorted out. A little surprising???

Peach, this is a great show in a beautiful setting. It is an NCCC judged show, however, so be ready for high levels of "anality." Also be forewarned that modified cars don't tend to do well here. Go figger. :)
But the location and fun more than makes up for it. This is a biggie you should not miss.
The Renaissance hotel is booked up due to some kind of Golf event going on that weekend. Golf is what that place is all about. The Vistana Resort (actually a time share) has rooms available, or did when we made our reservations. If you can get in there, do so, as the rooms are gorgeous. Otherwise, there are a couple of other places nearby.
Of course, if you were a CFCA member, you'd know all this already. :D:D:D
