Auto Fair, Charlotte N.C. 427 lingenfelter C5

Wow,, Just got back from the auto fair. If you're in the Charlotte area, this one was bigger than ever. There were cars every where, inside and outside the track. AAAANNNNDDDD saw a privately owned 99 Sebring Silver Lingenfelter 427, twin turbo. ..750 horsepower at only 8 lbs. of boost. AWESOME car....immaculate and built to the last detail in every aspect. Gottta seee it.. Among the C3 LT-1's and a few gorgeous ZR-1's also saw a 91 Calloway twin turbo, vert. Also a great example. Anyway ,,tons to see and plenty more to buy..!! Even the wife had a good time.!! :D

Was he a member of the Queen City Corvette club? Do you know if he was local to Charlotte?

The guy with the Lingenfelter was not local. I think he was from the mid-west..I didnt get where the Calloway guy was from. Must be from NC somewhere since he had a private flatbed to put the car on. I seem to recall NC plates on both. Sorry for the vague answer I was to awe struck to notice much else.!!
