Stars & Stripes….some Special Mentions

At this time in this effort I believe there are a few special mentions are in order. This is not be belittle the efforts of all the people working to make Stars & Stripes happen. I just want to highlight a couple of efforts that add to our promotion of the event and to the integrity of the cause. There is additional work underway that will be published at completion. Corvetteforum member Jack78 has arranged special flags for us. Each flag will have a certificate with it saying it was flown over the US Capital Building at the request of Congressman Clay Shaw of Florida for the Stars and Stripes event. He was aided in his request by Jimmy Kemp of Empower America and Cheryl Clark, legislative assistant to Congressman Shaw. Corvetteforum member Raging Bull arranged the contact with Corvette Fever Magazine. We’ll be featured in the July issue, on the newsstands April 30. Corvetteforum member Patrick96LT4 for his web hosting time and efforts. Troy Roberts, for giving Stars & Stripes front page billing. Stars & Stripes to the World Trade Center is well its way to reality. There are huge wrinkles in the plan yet to iron out, but every day sees progress toward achievement. Remember, we all sign the book that goes with the donation and the flags.
