Don't Bet Your Vette! 3rd Annual Poker Run
Yes folks, Classic Glass is doing their 3rd annual Poker Run to benefit Autism Speaks.
The date is Saturday April 24.
Start and finish is Bogey's Town Lake off I-575 and Town Lake Parkway in Woodstock, GA.
Start time is 10am for a staggered start.
Participants will follow a set route using clues to 4 mandatory check points. At each check point the participant will draw a raffle ticket to be used at the drawing for GREAT PRIZES.
Please Note:
* This is NOT a Gumball Rally. Speed is NOT a factor in this poker run.
* Passengers are great assets as navigators for this run.
* The route is approximately 117 miles....if you don't get lost.
* This is a fundraiser for Autism Speaks. There is NO "entry fee," but a donation to Autism Speaks is requested if the participant had fun. It can be $5, $10, $50, what ever amount the participant feels his/her fun was worth to help this cause.
* Bogey's will have food and drink specials for all.
* You do not have to be a member of Classic Glass to join in the fun.
* Register for this event at http://www.cgcorvetteclub.com/regis.html
* For more information contact Keelie Sparks at keelie_s@bellsouth.net

I believe in the Beer Fairy
It's a good laugh too, when you miss a turn.

If I can barrow a PU to tow my car trailer, I am in. This is a long way for me, but poker runs are a blast. If I had less wear on my tires I would just drive it. F1's as you know are not cheap. The last few runs for me in AC and Orlando were thrilling. You be surprised how fast a heart can beat. Good Luck to all and remember its for a good cause so be safe.
