Steve it sounds like a plan but the last weather I saw called for rain on Saturday night into Sunday morning. I guess we will have to play it by ear.

Easiest way to go is to take I-64 to Richmond International Airport. Go through the Airport by staying in the right hand lane the whole way. Then take a left onto Charles City Road (you have to go left or right). Go over some railroad tracks. You'll be behind the airport and will be able to see the runways. It's a long, straight 2-lane road you'll stay on less than around a mile. Take your next left onto Portugee Road (back towards the airport on that map) and keep on that road about 2-3 miles and the dragstrip is on your right. Watch the severe right twisty on that road :D.

Oh, a cool photo op with the Vette is available when you enter the Airport grounds. On the left is a SR-71 Blackbird. Way cool if you haven't seen it in person before. It's free and sitting out front...can't miss it.

Hoping I can come. Not 100% sure yet.

We will be on channel 7.......
After you pay at the booth, gentle LH turn keep going straight ahead to the bleachers toward the race track. We usually park on the LH side of the driveway in between 2 bleachers sets.
