OK.. We have parking outside Hooters at Waterside. It is on an asphalt parking pad that can hold 40 Vettes. We have to have passes which I will pick up in advance next Thursday. We have the space from 1 PM to 5 pm only. As it is committed after that time. I have arranged this through the operations manager at Waterside[ Maggie Levine ]
WE HAVE TO CONFIRM A DATE ! EITHER SATURDAY MARCH 23 RD OR MARCH 30TH I must know by next week so passes can be printed. This is being done as a favor to us.. So I am vouching for all of us...
Please contact all the members as to the date of choice, then I will let HOOTERS know we are coming..I will post this under the C-4 area as well..

I am not sure, but I thought you were the guy with the Banner and the contact with the HOOTERS PEOPLE.. [girls etc] that put all this stuff together at each stop.. I have only attended two of them and don't really know too many of the RAT Pack..I am just a new comer here..

I will take care of the parking passes and how about you making the the arrangements with HOOTERS..at Waterside..etc. or we can do it together since I am so close,but I am not the lead on this..I'm just a helper..So far it looks like the 30th.. I put this on the forum under C-4 as well..

Will do Rick. Just a call or two to my Hooter friends and we'll be there. This time I'll make sure we have a little faster service than the last stop.
Jack took home the Banner last time, but that is no problem. He will be there, if not, I'll get the banner from him.
This will be great. Lets see if we can fill up those 40 parking spots.
I say we all meet somewhere and role in to waterside together. That would be cool.
How is the parking going to work Rick? Will they have that area in front of Hooters roped off, and only cars with passes (us) will beable to park there from 1-5pm?

ED, There is a black asphalt paved area right outside of Hooters. We can have it from 1pm to 5pm..exclusive for us.. We will have to have passes for the windshields on each car, which Waterside Mall will make for us to use. I will make sure I am there early to handout passes and direct the parking I imagine..
I am going to meet with the Operations manager operations manager at Waterside[ Maggie Levine ] next week. We have talked a few times and she gave me her cell phone # and explained the rules to me.
We have to let her know the Sat. either 23rd or 30th we want. 1pm to 5 pm. At 6 pm the lot is being used by Waterside and we must be gone or towed! her rules!!
I have not met her in person yet, but she took care of it and called me back with the information. I hope to be able to give her the date confirmation by Monday so we can lock it in.
I think I will invite her to attend!!

Looks like you should just tell her the 30th Rick.
And with you inviting her to come, which she probably won't, that shows we take care of each other.
Parking from 1-5 is perfect. I expect to be gone by 4-4:30 the latest from Hooters.

This is going to rock. Waterside Hooters should be, by far, the best Hooters stop so far. I will be there!

The ZR-1 was running Monday. And the stock rocker panels were picked up from the paint shop today. I have to work this weekend, so Monday she will be tuned and ready to roll.
I am heading to Hickory next weekend to go racing Saturday and Sunday. Then the 16-17 I'll be racing in Rocky Mount. The rat pack should take a little cruise down to Rocky Mount if you don't plan on racing. Usually about 50-60 vettes racing in one weekend.
I'll have a hotel room at the Fairfield in, so you can hang out and party in my room that evening! What do you guys say? :cheers:

How long of a ride is it down there? I won't be getting back in from being out to sea until Friday that week and then off to Maine on Tuesday but a day trip is a possibility.

I can make it to the event site in just under 2 hours driving the vette. Towing, and it is about 2.5 hours. All you do is head out 58 to Emporia. Pick up 95 South and go to Rocky Mount. Get off on Rt. 43 I believe. I have the directions around here, but I'll have to find them.
