Car show/Cruise-in Orlando 11/22, Nashville/Memphis 11/28-29 ?
Hi guys,
I have a small question, I will have a couple friends over from Europe in a few weeks.
We will be in Orlando on Sunday 11/22, and in Nashville/Memphis the following weekend 11/28-29
Since they are both car-nuts as well, I thought it would be nice to take them to a nice weekend car-show or cruise-in, but I have been looking on the web and have no clue how to find any in those areas...
Anybody that can point me in the right direction, or knows any web-sites. It doesn't have to be a Vette-show, just anything with some classics, hotrods, you know what I mean
Thanks a lot, Sonny

While in Nashville you might consider atrip to the lane motor museum in the old Sunbeam bakery on Murfreesboro RD. They have a collection of unusual cars mostly european. www.lanemotormuseum.org
Most, if not all of the regular Friday and Saturday cruisin's in Nashville stopped around October 1st. I think you're probably a couple of months late.
I know the date has passed, but if someone else hits this thread looking for events out of their area (or even in their area) check out http://garagecity.com/garage/events.html - they have hundreds of events and you can search by zip code and distance. I think during the summer they are tracking thousands of events across the country. (You do have to join to get access, but it's free and I've gotten no spam from them or because of them.)
Plus they send you a weekly newsletter with what is happening near you - all free and no spam.
