I live here and never knew about the event.
Who put it on??? Some local club, or a group visiting Datytona???
Not to hijack the thread, but if you missed that event and want to REALLY drive Daytona (the Rolex 24 course), take a look at these posts over in the Auto-x/Road Race section:

The Audi event is Dec 12-14, 2008.
The PBOC event is Nov 1-2. I got an email last week that there were still student slots available for the PBOC event. Take a look at this post for contact info if you want to try to get registered. Unfortunately they say no novices for the PBOC event, but give them a call for more info:
