Just thought I would share the pictures from my car show to raise money for JDRF(Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation). We had almost sixty cars and raised just shy of 3,000 dollars. For those of you who might be interested in coming out next year send my a pm and ill get you info when I have the date for next year. We will also be having a dragon run on sunday after the show to make it worth while for those wanting to come from out of town so they can have a weekend full of events.
Here are a few pics the rest can be seen here. http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/c...%20Car%20Show/

Very nice show. Let's see what collectively we can do to help make this bigger next year for you and moreover, for the charity. Do you have a date for 2009 yet?

I hope to have a date by Christmas. I am working on a new location big enough for two hundread cars or so. Yeah I know I have big hopes but thats what it takes. Any help you all can give would be awesome. Its a great cause and I think we put on a pretty good show. I just need help getting the word out!!! Ill be in touch as soon as I come up with a date. I wanna get the exact dates of a few major shows in the area so I don't schedule it the same day. This year there was another car show in town that the local car club scheduled five months after I made my date. They had seventy cars so I have a lot more potential cars in the area. Plus everyone I can get out of town would be a big help. More cars equals mroe money for the kids

Great photos and that's a teriffic turnout! (I esp love that superbird)
I'm glad to hear so much was raised for diabetes, and am sorry I was unable to make this show. September seems to be the key month for all local shows!

No problem yeah I understand Sept is hectic. I moved the show up this year for cooler weather but it ended up being hotter than my August show last year. Ill probably bump the show back to around the end of August.
As for the Superbird its my dad's ill pass on the good words
