Default 93 Octane near uptown Charlotte NC?

Does anyone know where I can get 93 octane local? I am about to be on fumes and no way my car can run on 87.

Thanks!

If you can make your way out Wilkinson Blvd, there are a couple spots I past this morning where you can pick up race fuel.

I found some 93 at a Shell station off Clanton road. After calling about 20 places I finally lucked out.

None near Lake Wyle on the NC side. I'm going searching tonight again.

There is a Valero in Ft. Mill on Hwy 160 with 93 at $3.99. I just filled up since I am in Ballantyne.

If you need some I got some at the Shell station right off the Clanton Rd exit off 77. I put in 17.1 gallons so I was about on fumes haha.

How about putting in some octane booster with some regular. Seems to work fine.

that stuff is horrible unless its torco. It says it raises the octane 7 points but its more like .7 points.

You guys are lucky if you have any kind of gas at all. Here around Asheville, if a station gets a delivery, a 1/4 mile long line forms and it stays that way 'till the pumps are dry again. Only regular, too. I might have to use the rest of the gas in my tank to drive to Charlotte just to buy some more!!!!

Don't bother coming to Charlotte for gas. I drove by 24 yes 24 gas stations tuesday night before I found 87 octane. That was northeast Charlotte. My inlaws say they have no gas shortages in Laurinburg but that is long ways from Asheville.

I work in Denver, live in Mooresville. Denver was out of gas today. The Shell at 16 & 73 got in a tanker tonight. When I drove by at 1015 pm on my way home, there were around 100 cars waiting in line for gas.

I passed 3 stations in Huntersville, all out of gas.

I passed 5 stations in Mooresville, 1 of them had gas and it was packed.

Scary situation.

I suggested the same thing but Chris insists on putting 100 octane in the Passat.

Probably for the better, that off the shelf octane booster from Autozone etc is garbage.

I've siphoned the gas from my truck to feed my SAAB - I'm good for about 3 days. Both Vettes are parked with 3 gallons each in their tanks, plus a 8 ox bottle reserved for the Quadrajet in case I need direct injection. Teresa's car is parked in the garaged but empty.

I did a 12 mile radius search around Mt. Holly last evening at 8PM for gas stations with fuel. Surveyed 19 and all reported no fuel available for any grades.

Today on the way into the office I came upon the results of a 3-car pile up on Rea Road of cars lining to get into the station near Target in Blakeney and one fool failing to watch what was happening in front of him.

Possessed is right - this is a scary situation.

I heard a rumor yesterday from a C6 owner about BG suspending production on the 2009 Vettes beginning Oct 1st. I hope it was just a rumor.

Hopefully it is a temporary situation...

Got a phone call a few minutes ago that Bill Heard Enterprises (13 Chevy dealerships in 3 states and based in GA I believe) is closing down all dealerships. He has a big market in Corvettes and medium trucks. If ever you were looking for a deal on a Vette with employee pricing and rebates, now is the time to buy.

Gas? That's another story......
