Default Any Curvey/Scenic Roads in So Fla?

I moved to the Ft Lauderdale area about a year ago from Northern Va. I'm missing some roads with curves in em. I saw some guys on the sport bike forums talking about Snake Rd. in the Everglades and something called "9 Turns" in Ft. Lauderdale. Has anyone heard of "9 Turns" and know where it is? Anyone else got any other suggestions?

You might want to check out Homestead, Moroso, and Sebring. Between these tracks there are usually two events per month that you can run your car in.

I've given up hope for anything with too many turns down here. What else is there for a nice drive other than A1A headed north or south from Ft Lauderdale?

Card Sound Rd. between Florida City and Key Largo. That's about it other than the on and off ramps. Check out autocross events from SCCA. You'll get to do some twists and turns there.

Default How about a senic ride?

There's old Cutler Rd. in Miami that might interest you. Not too many curves, but it's a nice ride if you start from Brickell Avenue in downtown Miami going south through to Old Cutler Rd. The route takes you through Coconut Grove where you can stop for a .

SAFE is good as is NASA http://www.drivenasafl.com and PBOC
http://www.pbocflorida.com. I know Homestead and Sebring had events in last three weeks and when Moroso reopens PBOC will be there and maybe some others. You do not have to own a BMW or Porsche to run in the PBOC.

Tail of the Dragon in Deals Gap NC is a popular weekend destination for many around here with high performance cars and sport bikes.

You can keep going down Old Cutler and follow signs for BlackPoint Marina too (or so I'm told).

I sure miss the roads in Bryn Mawr outside Philly, but at least here you get space to unwind her full throttle!

Go to Key West on US 1, take Alligator Alley to Naples, can really open it up.
