Default Wheel polish in VA Beach area

I just got back from a fun deployment with the good ole USN and in the months that my car sat, there are some spots on my CCW wheels that aren't polishing up the way I would like them with the usual means. Is there any place in the Hampton Roads area that any of you would recommend to re-polish these things for me??? Thanks in advance!

There is a place in Newport News.
His name is Pete.
Cell# 804-815-1331
He is the best around. They will look like chrome when he is finished.
You can also go to Royal Silver in Norfolk. Buy a quart of Out Shine Metal Polish. Easy to use. Is Awesome.

Default Adams #1 & #2 will give you great results

I had very good results with Adams #1 polish for the purpose you need...followed-up with their #2 ...go to their web site for details & an instructional video on how to do it: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-69-me...1-2-combo.aspx

Is Pete's lastname Peterson? If this is the same Pete that I know, he does do great work!

Awesome... I'll be sure to give a call. Once they are back in good shape I'm planning on trying the Adams polishes!

Are they clear-coated? If so you need to be careful when polishing.

If not clear-coated just go to Pep Boys and get a ball buffer and some "Mother's Mag Polish" and do it yourself.

I saw Tim in Ed's shop do a fantastic job on wheels on a 40 Willies a few weeks back. Ed is on Indian River Road in Chesapeake 424-1740

They are uncoated CCW 505As. I tried about everything I can by hand and one of the Mother's power balls with their "Billet" polish and no matter how much elbow grease I put in it some of the brake dust spots inside just won't come out. I wasn't too much a fan of the power ball by the way. It used a ton of polish and didn't really seem to do anything I couldn't do by hand. In fact I ended up putting some light scratches on them and still couldn't get the crap off.
You wouldn't notice any of it from more than a foot away... and it is a daily driver so I know I'm probably being a little anal, but I am a perfectionist when it comes to my car so it's to be expected!

If they are uncoated Billet you can use a heavier grit polish.

Ed at Pipe Dreams sells a kit with a ball polishing buffer, polish, and 2 bars of jeweler's rouge. One is heaver grit than the other. It’s a 3 step process but turns out great results. The kit is like $30. You can always use “White Polishing Compound”. That Mothers ball you have is too coarse. You need a polishing ball covered in cloth that fits in a 3/8’ drill and let the speed of the drill do the work for you.

Once you get them to your satisfaction coat the wheels with “Wheel Wax”. It’s a product especially formulated to repel brake dust.
