Default Blue Ridge Parkway Pics

2 buddies and I hit the Parkway and HWY 80 today. The videos are from HWY 80.

The speed limits are 45-55 MPH, we did not speed during these videos.

Very nice! Haven't been up to the Parkway in awhile - think it's about time we did . . . . . . .

Wow, the colors look better than I thought they would be this year! I'm missing all of the fall colors......I'm sitting here in Phoenix in my hotel room. There is a lot of "brown" here........

Nice pictures. I see a lot of desktop background shots. I think we should rename Rt 80. How about "Metrolina Run" Good videos!

I got my Vette back together. Don't forget the Nov 17th meeting.

Looks awesome. I was up there for summer driving the vette back to FL but ended up killing an already dieing clutch going through there. While I was stuck in SC having a new clutch put in I took the rental back up to the parkway. Really fun roads for a Florida boy like me where a slight turn or 5ft change in elevation constitutes "the twisties".

Was on the south end of the Parkway last Wednesday and the visibility was less than 10 feet due to low clouds - needless to say had to abort our plans. Glad to see you had a good day there...

Darn, I just realized those were video clips you posted here. Guess I am not too savy on this posting stuff, lol.
You got some good video of me, thanks Mike.

We spend a lot of time cruisinf the Parkway, spending several days each year. Never gets boring. We usually stay at Pisgah Inn, Little Switzerland Inn, and Doughton Park. Nice pics!

Thanks for posting!

We were absolved to a non-Corvette event for the whole day (moving a buddy to a new house) but I'm glad to see the weather cooperated, the fog burned off and the roads dried out. Hwy 80 is pretty cool ain't it? I vote to call it "Corvette Corners" from here on out on CF!!

I really wanted to include the BPR and the tunnels in our last run but I trust you guys explored them all. Thanks for sharing and Mike - great video! I can't wait to see Jeff's since he was runnig in the front.

Word to the RV owner: try the west - straighter roads and boring.

We may have entered a tunnel or two.

Good stuff.

I've done the BRP from beginning to end 3 separate times. Always
a blast. So pretty and I've always travelled during the week, so
the traffic was at a bare minimum.

I hit the top section with the radio towers during a really bad rain
storm. That was fun.

Man, I don't blame you for not speeding, those colors are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
