I really did enjoy the one year (cant recall which) where we started the cruise with a little parade thru "downtown" Front Royal with a police escort. That was ! Kind of reminded me of Carlisle

I don't have any answers at the moment, but maybe we can get the collective creative juices flowing and think "outside the box" as the saying goes. Maybe it's just me, but I was talking with someone Saturday at Stony Man about Carlisle and he said he wasn't going this year because it's become the same thing every year. I had to agree with him!
