Woo-hoo, 61...lets here it for the C5's

Actually, from what I understand even more importantly then the car numbers or the winners (BTW, congrats to you all), we also raised a good chunk of money for Relay for Life, which is way awesome!

123 cars sure is a lot more than the original 20 we had about 7 years ago when we started the Hampton Roads Hooters Tour.

Had great fun as usual and thanks all for the trophy. The best point made though is the fact we all help Relay For Life and have fun doing it. Scott

We presented Michelle from Relay with a check for $2200 dollars from the car show portion of Vettes at Waterside at the Beachcombers meeting last night.

She said they raised another $1000 from the raffles Hooters and the Relay folks put on for a total of ~$3300 raised that day for American Cancer Society through Realy for Life.

MICHELLE, sent me an email wanting me to let ALL of YOU know how much she appreciates what everyone did to help raise the money for "Relay for LIfe"
She is very excited about the opportunity to work with the Beachcombers this summer as well......and wants everyone to know how very special Corvette people are....
For those of you who met her , you know how sincere she is....
You made a difference for Cancer and a Corvette fan for life..
Stay safe
Rick
