A sincere thank you to Cha-Cha and the other fine members of the CSA Foundation and the Pacesetters Corvette Club for organizing another great event yesterday, Saturday 10-21-06. I am blessed to be able to attend and again drive in honor of my sister-in-law, Tina Marie, who lost her battle against Breast Cancer last year before CABC III.
We started the morning off very early at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We took our turns taking some paced laps behind one of the AMS Official Pace Cars. The "Charity Laps" NASCAR was there and for a donation you could ride along. http://www.charitylaps.com/
We then caravaned from AMS to Summit racing about 15 miles away for a car show and great bar-b-que.
There were special guest speakers telling their stories of survival.
A great day for a great cause.
It was great to see everyone at the track and the car show and meet the fine folks that came over from Alabama.
