Default [CCRT] Another local opportunity to AutoX!

Calling all CCRT'ers - don't know what you all have been up to lately -seems the season hasn't really gone as some have planned and a few members have had to divide their racing time between other attentions... BUT there's an opportunity to get together on June 17/18 for an NCCC autocross in Greenville SC at the former Greenville Braves stadium. I'm sure it will be a great course for 'vettes. C'mon out!

check out the flyer here:

If the new engine's all weeded out by then, I'll definitely consider it.

Just an FYI about this event.
It is pre-registration only.
This is a big parking lot & we will probably use about (10) pylons, so come on out & join the fun.

Anthony, Flyer does not say "pre-registration only" I read it as $70 pre-reg until June 1st, then $80 up to the drivers meeting. Georgana and I was planning to come, but wouldn't know until next week sometime.

Oh well then I guess we'll in Kershaw!

Hey, Donna

Missed ya at both the SCCA races in May....the SC crew could have used some help as I had to "finally" stop playing around and put a whipping on Charles and Pat

Unfortunatley I'm still in FLORIDA!!!! This has obviously drastically hurt my ability to make much more than one race per month ....and even missed my all time favorite the Sanford Memorial race as I had to train a new team down here in Jacksonville.

I just got off the phone with Tom and we will both be attending the SCCA race this weekend at Intimadators. I much perfer the longer NCCC tracks and hope to be able to get in a few races with them this year as well.

I HAVE NOT fallen off with my interest level...I just cannot simply get the time to fly up on the weekends to just race. I should have been back in Charlotte in April...hopefully now August!

Hey Jeff,
I was mistaken & you are correct. There is a discount for pre-registration but it is NOT required. Sorry for any confusion & hope to see both of you in Greenville

hey, Rick - no problem. We all understand work issues - too bad work gets in the way of our fun. It sounds like you are really busy getting this new project off the ground.

I guess I've just been wondering what happened to the rest of the CCRT crew... We've had plenty of events around the Carolina's...
maybe the venues were just too far to drive for some people.

Anyway - I'm going to miss the SCCA events this weekend - I'll be racing in Texas this weekend Charles and Pat will be attending BOTH the Columbia SCCA race on Saturday AND the Intimidators event on Sunday.

Til next time...

My problem is this Home Depot job. It is seriously getting in my way. But I need a few extra bucks for a trailer and upgrades.

See all that can make it Sunday.

From Moyock you've got a long drive ahead. Love that area up there. Nags Head is where I go when I want to go to the beach. Takes 7 hours from Columbia. Where are you staying in Mauldin/Greenville?

About 8-1/2hrs with a long lunch in Rocky Mount, a stop at the Chevy dealer in Asheboro for an extra set of keys, and several parking lots in the middle of I85.

We're chill'n here at the Holiday Inn express on Woodruff (exit 51A)
