Help me find my old car..near York, South Carolina

Guys, I'd like to find my old C4 and see if it's for sale. It was last shown on Carfax as being in York, SC in 2003. It is a Polo Green/Saddle, auto, prior to that it was in Virgina. If anybody has a buddy who has one like this, I'd like to contact them to see if they are interested in selling the car. Carfax shows it hitting North Carolina in 7/2001 where it passed an emissions test, then in 10/2001, it showed registered in York, SC. The last 4 of the VIN are " 0332". I'd appreciate any help in locating my old buddy.

I live in York County about 10 minutes from York. If you have an address I will check for you.

I wish I did have the address, I do not know any way of finding it without a name. That is the big problem I'm running into with this, unless you know somebody your lost... I'll keep this in mind though as I just now thought of something I may be able to try.

sweet talk someone at the DMV they could hook you up with an address, or give me the VIN ill see what i can do with my pals at the police dept. better email it to me, im not on the forum uch anymore

I've talked to some people already, but it seems the "information pipeline" has been shut. In our state the DMV at the state level will not disclose anything (privacy and security now), and the individual offices are privately owned and they will not take a chance of loosing their privledges.
