Louisiana Roll Call

Hello everybody. I'm new, In LA (Baton Rouge), and in over my head with some unexpected problems on my 68 coupe. I'm looking for help and local leads to get the situation squared away, so I figured it might be good to call out to all you LA members. Who's in LA and where? PMs greatly appreciated for support. Sorry I cannot help with the C3, but I am in Lafayette, Louisiana. Check with the Baton Rouge Corvette Club or the Bayou State Corvette Club (both clus have web sites). I am sure there are some C3 guys around here who will be glad to give you some advice.

Baton Rouge here. Just got my first vette. It is an 86.

I wish I could help you, but I am new to Corvettes. Nice to meet other LA members though.

Up in the NE corner of LA. Oak Grove. Sorry I can't help with anyone around BR. Corvettes of Northeast Louisiana (CONL) is the club here in the Monroe area. Give a shout if you're ever up this way.

Hey,

I'm from lafayette too. Do you go to the club meetings??....I've been trying for the last couple months, but seem to be offshore all the time. If you wanna get together sometimes and talk/work on the vette, let me know. I'm in the process of building a 30X40 shop with all air tools and a lift. If you feel like contributing a little carpentry help, I'd welcome you to the shop and help you out if you want to do any modifying.....

Hello, I'm in Bogalusa but not much experiance with C3's. My brother owned a 81 that we tinkered with. I've had my training on the C4's for the past 8 years. I'm sure you could contact a local corvette club for someone to help you out.

I am in Baton Rouge and a member of the Baton Rouge Corvette club. I have my 1971 which I am in the process of rebuilding for a 3rd time thanks to Katrina ( I was living in New Orleans before). I will send you a PM with my number. I am normally not around during the week as I travel with my job, but on weekends I could lend a hand.

Meraux, la . Living in Hammond LA while I rebuild my house from Katrina. MY 69 went under but I'm going to rebuild it.
