Thanks for helping get the word out Donna.
This is going to be a great event.
I've already sent in my entry fee.

Who else will be there???

Good deal!!!!!!
This weekend the Ratpack was more like a rat pair, only 2 rats made it to Shelby.
I'm hoping for a bunch of people & rats at CMP.

How does one register for this event? I'm not a member of the NCCC.
What class would I run in, with an 04 Z06, no motor mods, have Kumho
710's and T1 bars and Wilwood brake pads?

What's the format? How many sessions per day, etc.?

The format includes parade laps for all:
20 minute practice by groups
two single, timed, hot laps (1/2 lap warmup, 1/2 lap cool down)
one - two lap, timed, runs (1/2 lap warmup, 1/2 lap cool down)
Lunch break for workers
one - two lap, timed, runs (1/2 lap warmup, 1/2 lap cool down)

There are records established for the NCCC Classes, and may be seen at CRNCCC.COM

Your car may be in the NCCC Class IIH or IIJ, or even IIIH. Tech will tell.

Being as you are not a member of NCCC you will run in the Guest Class.

Either way it looks to be a good bit of fun in the sun, just change your brake fluid add newer pads, and come on down.

Good call Greg. You need some good brakes for a weekend at CMP. A little more horsepower is always a good thing too.

Have fun!

Clarifications: May 2006
#1: Page 2-21 Group II Transmission 2.7.3.14.1
Question: Can I run a Z06 transmission in a regular C-5coupe in IIJ?
ANSWER: YES Any C-5 with any Z06 specific engine, transmission, or differential part
(s) will be classed as IIJ. (This is true only in class IIJ and reverses clarification #2 of Feb.
06) Yes (13) No (1)

Will you be runnin' in my class???????

Spidey will be there for his first ever high speed event. First time on a road course though. Most likely just to test the waters.

Bring on the Rats, Spiders, snakes..... we will even allow mustangs!!!
Greg if you are considering changing gears for 1 or 2 high speed weekends you have too much time on your hands.
At CMP you will change gears alot no matter what is inside the rearend.
