Default Need help in South Florida!!

Ok, first some background on the car.....1998 A4 with 31k on the odometer. At a friend's house this morning, I am standing next to the Vette and I hear a slight "eek-eek" screeching coming from the engine bay. I pop the hood and it sounds like a pulley or mild belt squeel. As I'm moving around the engine compartment a slight movement catches my eye. I look down and see that the crank pulley is moving. Not my imagination, but a definite wobble!!

Car seems to run fine and I'm not sure when this began. What's my next step?! Is this about to fly off the front of my engine at any moment? Should I shut her down and have it towed to the repair shop? If the crank pulley has to be replaced, should I just buy an aftermarket underdrive pulley? Any suggestions on brand? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.....I'm looking for a local shop that is reputable and can take a look at the car for me. Local dealer says "they all do that." Hopefully one of you guys knows someone whose opinion and advice I can trust.

Call Roger at Horsepower Sales. He does most of the high performance cars in this area. His phone # is 954-782-6700.

Don't call him today, he's in Gainesville at the Gator Nationals. He will be in the store on Monday.

Good luck.

Swap out the pulley for an underdrive unit, Roger will get it for you. Tell him the Corvette Forum boyz sent you. No Corvette Tax at Rogers place. If you need more info give me a call

I'm sure we will meet up in the near future. Bob lives at HP sales and I'm there more than I should be adding things to my engine.
