[Rat Pack] Red Cross fundraiser at Jenro's Saturday 9/3/05

Hi gang ... got this email from Michelle Morris of Volkswagen Club of Tidewater: " Hello Fellow VW Enthusiasts, For those of you that will still be in Hampton Roads tonight (verses heading to the Bug Out) - Dee Nienstedt is heading up an effort to collect money for the Red Cross to give to the Katrina Victims on behalf of VCOT. She will be @ the Saturday Night Cruise-In @ Jenro's tonight. Dee is planning on showing up around 4:00pm with a collection bucket & I will be there around 6:30pm to help. We would appreciate any help from VCOT members, so grab a bag or bucket for collecting donations and show up to help tonight. VCOT will send a check to the Red Cross with a letter stating that we would like the money applied to the Katrina Victims and that the donation is on behalf of the Volkswagen Club Of Tidewater. Jenro's is located in the Haygood Shopping Center off of Independencece Blvd. in Virginia Beach. Hope to see you there!" If anyone is thinking about going .... it will be great weather for a cruise and yet another way we can help our brothers and sisters down south. Look for the red '01 vert and say hi!

Lotsa nice cars! My first trip to Jenro's!

The Mrs. and I took a leisurely drive to the oceanfront via shore drive, top out after we left. Will definitely return!
