She says she doesn't feel right driving someone else's car, but she'll be there.

Are you bringing something special from Callaway? I can't imagine what it's like to blast down the quarter in Lance's car. He had the Z06 guys crying when he beat that white Z06 before Callaway ever got their hands on the car.

I saw you talking quite a while with Tony last year when you had the Z06 there. It's good to have more Callaway interest in the local area.

I wish there was a Callaway Honker for the C4 LT1! ???

See you there.

NOt sure on the costs. It came with the Car. Not sure if SLP makes it anymore. I'll look around on the web.

I can't make the track today. Other things came up that require my attention.

Sorry u missed it Rob!

LittleRed94, RKreigh, Felngr8, and MANY, MANY more were there from VA

I think LRC94 even ran her best time I told her it was a great track - plenty of BITE!

We do need to hit the track though befor T-Giving

p.s. I had a 5-guys burger afterwards, couldn't resist

This was an outstanding day.....a well prepped track, sunny skies, and great people to boot.

Today I earned some 'personal bests':

Best 1/4 ET: 13.624
Best 60': 1.975
Best MPH: 101.71

Not bad for a mostly stock '94 LT1. Didn't win anything, didn't expect to, just went out and worked on some things and learned some good stuff for the next time around.

PS-I ate a 5-guys burger, too.

It was a good day. The bite was so good in the left lane I dead hooked and bogged every time in that lane. No best ET but a new best mph of 114.12. The biggest problem was there were so few cars we couldn't get a cool down between rounds in time trials and the engine overheated. That's a good problem to have.

I found a new way to lose this time; I broke out on my dial twice. Even broke out on a bye run first round. Didn't lose that one.

Life is good!

I forgot to mention, I have a little fan (or my car does). A boy 5 or 6 years old waved at me while driving back from one of my runs. I was so focused on my driving and results I never saw him. His Grandad brought him over to the staging lanes and asked if he could take the boy's picture by my car. Really neat, and I'm totally surprised.

Another future Corvette owner is created!!!

Chris,

I cropped that image you sent me from last year. Here's a look. I also used it in my signature.
