(NOVA) New Lift and Carport
Hi,
I'm getting a new concrete slab and a carport with a lift. The problem I have is I made need help unloading the lift from the truck.
If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. I'll offer beer unlike my friend 69mako.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

What day? I might be able to help you out during the week. I don't have anything planned Tues. or Wednesday afterwork.

I'd be glad to help, although next week is pretty crazy for me so I can't promise anything.
If you're doing it on one of my non-insane days, I'll be there

After reading the 56 pages of installion instructons I may need more help than I thought. Has anyone ever installed a four post lift before?

Chris,
Do yourself a favor and hire someone to install your lift.
I have a 10,000 2 post lift in my garage/shop, I hired a local installer for $350.00, he did all of the unloading, installation and checkout, well worth the money.
Check with some local shops or dealers and they will have the name of someone local that performs service on their lifts.

Good advice unless Chris wants to practice for free

Pickup and installion is about 1K.
This may be a deal since they pick it up and install it. Then I don't have to have to take off a day from work and bother my friends

My father has a SS7000 lift. I bought their two post lift. We installed both. You will need a few hands to build it and take it off the truck....

The problem is the main ramps are heavy!!! Very heavy. This isn't something you can do by yourself or with one helper. Make sure you buy the fuild for the pump. Quest autoparts sells it in big jugs...
