I will be there running my Dark Grey BMW 540i in FS class, so I will get a chance to get some good pics of that nice vette of yours in action. The next day I will take the Z06 to Laurinburg for an Auto-x there. They are pretty much at capacity...I am 4th on the waiting list with about 20 more behind me.
I'm in again...as soon as registration opens up...and I have a few more mods I'm going to try and get done before than...Donovan1 is getting closer every race and now I have to watch out for Donovan2 as well
EDIT:
Crap I miss read your post it is this Saturday..unfortunately I cannot make it, but I will see ya in April at the Braves location.
Lookin' forward to seeing you there! I was looking for another event on Sunday, but Laurinburg didn't come up on SCCA site... The only other one I saw was Kenley, NC and that's a bit of a hike for 1 day.
Donovan/Rick - sorry you guys won't be there, but we'll see ya at the Braves stadium event!

I made it out on Sunday to Laurinburg Airport for Tarheel's Vette friendly course. I think I did pretty well, I finally figured out at the end of my runs that burning a little rubber at the start isn't such a bad thing... The results are posted at: http://www.thscc.com/autocross/events/index.html

The fastest vette was a 1991 "A Stock" driven by Dick Rasmussen & Miles Beam. Obviously experienced dudes, they showed up with about 3 sets of tires and one helluva fast car.
Now times closer to my world...
Graham Jagger made his last event in his red 92 "A Stock" Vette. He will be picking up an 02 Z06 soon. He was great competition for me, he managed to squeeze out one run .031 seconds faster than me! And the dude with the fastest helmet (had all kinds of flames on it), Chris Overcash 99 "A Street Prepared" Vette also made his last run .269 faster than me. I am improving....that was my 2nd AutoX and I will definitely see these guys again!!!
