That's gonna leave a mark. If Jimmy needs any rear wheel bearing tools, I've got 'em. Must of been Shark weekend. Yesterday while bleeding the brakes, I broke off one of the two bleeder screws in the rear.

We need the rest of the story. How, what, when, where and what were you doing? Is the rest of the "Diva" okay? Looks like you're gonna need a few parts. You are going to get it fixed by the AutoFair!!!?

BTW, has this happened to other C3s?

Good advice Tom... I'd like to know what caused it. I don't know too much about what's going on with Sassi. The last time I tried getting up with Mark he didn't answer his phone. I figure he may have had his arms caught in his headlights again. Have you thought about having that bone gilded? It seems like its going to be hanging from his mirror for quite awhile.

Will try to make this as SHORT a story as possible!

Last Monday morning (not yesterday)...off to work at 5:30am.. nothing unusual..got about half way to work, and of course got caught by every friggin red light going across town. was sitting at a red light...turned to green, got up to 10-15 mph (there is a nasty BUMP at the insection) and BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *scrape scrape scrape*. At first I thought I blew a tire and was sooo pissed off thinking about the cost of a new wheel and tire!! and of course it is pitch dark..can't see a thing! no tire flat..so crawled under the back of the car..and the hardware was on the ground. Didn't really SEE exactly what happened till we got her back home ( on a flatbed ). Jimmie says no problem to fix. Already got it apart.

Best guess on what happened...TOO MUCH TORQUE!

Ouch..........broke a spring perch right off the DS axle on my 68' Camaro heading to work one morning..........nice and easy off a stop light and BAM! Only going 15mph so it only hurt the wheel well molding I guess racing it with 4.56 gears for years didn't help Good to have a friend with a roll back
Good luck on the fix, time for some reinforcement
