I am looking for Vette owners in Western NC. No clubs my town. Wondering if anybody is in a club or wants to start one. I live in Hickory NC and own a business and therefore work a lot of hours, so it is hard to travel 50 miles to the nearest Vette Clubs on my few days off.

Ready to Ride.

Is northern Charlotte too far? Get a hold of Corvette Kid NC, and ask Chris about our club. He lives up there in Hickory. Our only requirement is that you like to do things with your Vette. I should warn you about a few of our members.

I don't know how far Shelby is but there is a good club there.

You could always form a new club, not very hard to do,and kinda fun.

I was just up in Troutman today for a QCCC get together learning about the braking systems of the C5. We've got folks from all over the area including your neck of the woods. Come check out our website. If it looks interesting to you shoot an email off to our membership director Eddie Burt.

Sent you a PM. Let me know if I can help!

All the Charlotte area clubs are excellent organizations! Just depends on what you are looking for in a "club". I would suggest, if you don't decide to start up your own club, that you try to attend some of the various club's events and decide for yourself which group of Corvette fanatics that you "fit in" best with! I have attended some of the other club meetings and events in the past few years and can say that they have been filled with excellent members and fantastic Corvettes! But they are all are very different from one another! I am sure you can find one that suites your tastes!! You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions!!

BTW, the Race City Gang is not a formal organization. Even if you choose to become a official member of another club, you will always be welcome at our events! You won't be "cheating"!!

Good luck with your search!!
